The Eastern part of DRC has been subjected to conflicts between the DRC army and militias for more than 15 years. The population from this part of the country faces poverty, violence, hunger and more.

On 12th December, Promasidor Congo held its annual Father Christmas supper in Pointe Noire. Working in partnership with international NGO Samusocial, this event demonstrates our focussed support for children and young people suffering from severe exclusion across the region.

On November 20th, 2014, Promasidor's team in the Republic of Congo joined hands with the RIEPER organisation (Réseau des Intervenants sur le Phénomène des Enfants de la Rue, or, the Street Children's Support Network) to celebrate 25 years of the International Convention of the Rights of the Child.
