Promasidor Ghana marked the month of Ramadan with donations to Islamic homes, mosques and sampling at mosques. In one of the donations, PGH presented its products and other food items to Home of Taqwa, an Islamic NGO and home, which houses over 130 children at Dodowa in Greater Accra.

As part of activities marking the World Water Day celebrations, Cowbell, in partnership with World Vision, has commissioned two boreholes in Wurapong in the Yilo Krobo Municipality. The boreholes in Wurapong are part of several other boreholes to be constructed under the “Cowbell Impacting Lives” Campaign.

On the 18 March 2021, Promasidor donated food items from its staff Christmas gifts to Isolo SOS Children’s Village as support for the children. The SOS village provides support to orphans and children from vulnerable families.

Premium Divine Trading Company Limited, the business operating partner of Promasidor Holdings based in Freetown, presented large quantities of assorted Promasidor products and branded exercise books to two orphanages during the 2020 festive period as our way of showing support for these institutions.

As part of its brand awareness creation strategy in Freetown, Sierra Leone, Cowbell supported Government’s Free Quality Education and School Feeding Initiatives with the provision of five thousand Cowbell branded exercise books and Cowbell milk products to ten primary schools within a week.

In order to highlight breast cancer awareness and prevention, Cowbell participated in a lively morning with around 50 women to share with them the importance of taking care of their health.

It was 11.am. when a special street patrol headed into the streets of Pointe-Noire to meet the homeless children, give them a food kits and educate them about COVID 19.

To cope with the social imbalance generated by the COVID-19 crisis and better meet the basic needs of children and young people in living on the street, the Samu social Pointe-Noire has adopted a host of new initiatives.

While humanitarian organisations, such as the Algerian Red Crescent once again showed their importance in these unique times, we as manufacturers do have a responsibility to support those actions and give back to communities.

Eight communities across the country have benefitted from the ongoing Cowbell borehole project. A total of 20 boreholes are expected to be constructed in areas dotted across the country by the end of year.
