Salone’s favourite seasoning Onga, celebrates with women across Freetown

Following the successful introduction and growth of the Onga food seasoning brand in the Sierra Leone culinary market, Premium Divine Trading decided to show their appreciation to all their female customers during the week in which International Women’s Day is celebrated.
The event involved visits to all major markets across Freetown, amidst drumming and dancing to the nation’s favourite Bubu dance. The weeklong event enabled Premium Divine Trading to interact with Onga mummies and other women traders and buyers across all the major markets visited within Freetown. These included Waterloo, Goderich, Lumley, Portee, Calaba Town, Congo, Krootown Road and Dove Cut markets.
This move by Onga was to thank all of our Onga mummies for their continued business loyalty over the five years of our existence on the Sierra Leone culinary market. During the visit to these markets, potential and actual customers were offered free product samples of the new Onga Stew and Beef tablets, which was followed by free gifts to Onga mummies through a lucky dip, which was surprising and gratifying to all market women present. Attractive prizes won included Onga branded clothes, bowls, aprons and bags.
The Onga mummies commended Onga on an initiative never before witnessed in the country and pledged their continued loyalty to the brand, ensuring it’s growth in the years to come.
Fatu Sesay, one of Onga mummies who benefited from the gesture by Premium Divine Trading, commended the company, stating they have never experienced such an event in the country, even as the world celebrates International Women’s Day.
She revealed that she has been cooking with Onga all this while and that Onga is the best food seasoning in the country. She further stated that the new Onga Stew flavour is exceptional among other brands available on the market currently.
