Safety First. Onsite Covid-19 vaccinations at Promasidor Algeria
While the coronavirus pandemic continues to rage in Algeria, we are increasing the means and efforts to protect all our employees at Promasidor. In addition to the preventive measures in place since the start of the pandemic, a vaccination campaign against Covid-19 was launched on our sites in July in order to facilitate access to vaccinations for our interested employees.
This onsite access to vaccinations, offers both safety and comfort to our staff, by avoiding long queuing hours and unnecessary exposure risk to the virus in external vaccination centres.
To date, the medical team on site has administered Covid-19 vaccines to a total of 267 employees. The vaccination campaign still continues through our sites based on the availability and reception of vaccines doses.
On a national level, the state of Algeria is also launching a national vaccination campaign from September 2021. We all hope that these collective efforts will help us prevent the spread of the pandemic in the near future.
