Promasidor Tanzania Sales team polishes their act

As part of an initiative to develop skills in our company, the sales team where brought together from across the country to participate in our event sales training programme.
Held in Dar Es Salaam, the programme was one full day of intensive training. Participants spent time reviewing product knowledge and commercial numeracy to improve their selling skills.
They also undertook a test relating to the syllabus of the course covered and all passed with the top score being 92%. One of the tasks from a group session was that the teams had to develop a sales presenter – covering both product attributes, marketing support and the financials – buying and selling prices; margin and mark up calculations. The results were taken by the marketing team and turned into sales aids that the team now carry with them.
