Promasidor shines at Gulfoods 2017.
Promasidor Boksburg once again took part in the Gulfoods 2017 show in Dubai. The show started on 26 February and finished on the 2nd March 2017. Gulfood just keeps getting bigger and better! Gulfood 2017 attracted a record estimate of 90,000 visitors, many of whom attended on multiple days. With over 5,000 companies represented from over 120 countries exhibiting, this is the Middle East’s leading and largest food, drink, food service and hospitality exhibition.
UAE imports over 80% of its food product, of which around 50% are re-exported to Gulf Cooperative Council countries, the Indian subcontinent and Eastern Africa. The key to Gulfood is that it attracts buyers not only from the Gulf region but effectively the world. Once again Gulfoods 2017 was a huge success for Promasidor Boksburg, with us getting contact details of distributors for many of the countries that was on our “wish list” for the show.
