Promasidor Ghana COVID-19 Community Support: Association of Sport for The Disabled and other benefits.
The Association of Sport for the Disabled (ASFOD) is the latest to join the list of beneficiaries of the PGH COVID-19 support packages. Members of the association were presented with assorted products from PGH at a brief ceremony held at the head office of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA). Commenting on the presentation, National Event and PR Executive of PGH, Mr Gideon Kodo, acknowledged the difficulties that have befallen sportsmen and women in the era of COVID-19, which is why Promasidor, in a series of community support initiatives, is presenting assorted products to members of the association. He indicated that it is the hope of the business that these products will help alleviate the hardships faced by members of the association under this pandemic. Mr. Kodo also took the opportunity to reiterate the commitment of the business to continuously support lesser-known sports once the situation normalises. Other beneficiaries of the packages include the Ghana Ambulance Service, Noguchi Medical Research Institute and Handivangelism Orphanage amongst others.
