Maiden edition of Miksi Soakings party comes to a successful end
Hundreds of students at the University of Ghana thronged the forecourt of the Hilla Limann hall (a local hall) in the university to take part in the maiden edition of the Miksi Gari Soakings party. The Miksi Soakings party is a brand-building event organised to build a stronger affinity between the brand and its patrons through experiential activities of high entertainment value as well as preparation and consumption of "high school" delicacies.
The event was characterized by fun-filled activities, which included Karaoke sessions, video games and foosball games among others. Part of the event also included an eating competition among old students of selected senior high schools.
Brand manager for Miksi, Mr Magnus Dey, expressed his excitement about the event. "I am really excited about the turnout, especially this being the maiden event. We realized tertiary students have a strong emotional attachment with their Senior high schools, so we decided to relive some of those moments through typical SHS delicacies hence this event." Mr. Dey said.
