Loya Milk & Twisco Powder Elected "Product of the Year 2021" in Algeria


Created in 1987, the "Elected Product of the Year" label is now present in 40 countries and concerns more than 3.5 billion consumers around the world. The main purpose of the label is to guide the consumer towards local products on the market and to reward brands and service providers for their innovations.

Launched in Algeria for the first time in 2021, "Algeria Product of the Year" concerns the largest study on the behavior of Algerian consumers in the face of product innovation. The project initiator explained that the aim of such a competition is to give a voice to consumers whom it considers to be "the only real experts in consumer products”.           

For this first edition In Algeria, 51 brands from 55 categories, among which our Loya Powder Milk and Twisco chocolate powder, were elected “product of the year” following an innovative voting process that includes a mix of a national digital survey and product tastings with a panel of 9 000 consumers across Algeria.

This label will be displayed as a sign of consumers’ trust and preference in all our communications for a whole year, offering our consumers an extra promise of quality
