Drink-O-Pop Kido refreshes at Martin School Big Walk
It was a fabulous, sunny day filled with fun and excitement, great food from the many food stalls and, of course, Drink-O-Pop Kido sparkling soft drinks. There was also entertaining music and lots and lots of prizes. The Big Walk is a Martin School initiative to raise sponsorships and donations for the school. Even in trying economic times, the school is proud to say that this year’s Big Walk has been the most successful on record, in terms of donations made and collected. For this, the school has their many past students, their parents, and current and past members of the PTA to thank.
All in all, there were 1100 pupils who participated in the Big Walk and their parents joined in the fun day. After 25 laps, all the thirsty kids were treated to a Drink-O-Pop Kido cold drink. The Kido team also entertained the kids with the loveable hippo mascot.
