Cowbell Ibaka Games is our annual big charity event in the Congo
A week filled with community activities ended with a big celebrity basketball game. The 2017 edition welcomed over 6 000 people at the Maxim Makelé Kelé Gymnasium for the Cowbell Ibaka games .
A selection of orphanages and schools were visited as part of our social community responsibility activity. The Cowbell and Ibaka foundation teams spent the day with the kids and donations were made to each orphanage. Food and Entertainment were provided for the kids as well as gift packs given to each child on departure. The children of orphanages were invited to take part in the Cowbell Basketball clinic at the Gymnasium. They spent the day playing and learning some basketball tricks with Serge Ibaka and other coaches. Refreshment and catering were provided for the kids. There were also performances by cultural groups. The event ended with a celebrity basketball game and dunk competition. Performances by DJ kratos, DJ Cedron, comedians: Sai- sai, Essobe, dauphin, Vue de loin and artist Makhalba and much more crowned the games.
