Christmas Carols Cowbell Style

The Christmas Carol Challenge was one of the most successful activities organized for our dedicated online followers in Ghana. 

For the Cowbell Carol Challenge, an example video was made using Promasidor staff asking fans from our Facebook and Twitter pages to create their own short videos within a period of two weeks.

The videos were to be of themselves singing their favorite Christmas Carol with “COWBELL” incorporated into it. The competition had some rules and regulations to ensure that it was fun, fair and interesting. This tested the creative side of our fans.

After the two-week period, ten winners were selected based on the quality of their videos and how well they complied with the rules. The selected winners were rewarded with special Cowbell hampers and movie tickets after the Christmas fervor had died down.

To show our love and appreciation to our clients and followers for sticking with us throughout the year, the Promasidor staff made their own special rendition of the Cowbell Carol to end the challenge.

At the end, fans took to the page to congratulate winners and staff of Promasidor for their creative work.

The competition promoted user-generated content, interaction, increased our reach and cut through the Christmas clutter of pictures and giveaways, and all this while promoting the Cowbell brand.
