2020 International Women's Day marked with special ceremony to celebrate Promasidor Ghana female staff
On 9 March 2020, Promasidor Ghana organised a brief ceremony for all female staff as part of activities marking the 2020 International Women’s Day celebrations. The event was organised to celebrate and appreciate the efforts of female staff in the company. Addressing the gathering at the ceremony, Managing Director, Mr. Festus Tettey, expressed his gratitude to all female staff and encouraged them to continue working hard. He further added that it would be great to see more women take up top managerial positions in PGH.
Speaking on behalf of all female staff in PGH, Logistics Manager, Miss Freda Barnor, expressed her excitement about the event and called for the celebration of women in corporate establishments. She further reiterated the need for women empowerment and charged all female staff of PGH to discharge their duties diligently. The event climaxed with the cutting of the official cake for the celebration.
